El Diario La Unión de Valparaíso fue un periódico matutino fundado el 23 de enero de 1885 por el presbítero y futuro arzobispo de Santiago Juan Ignacio González Eyzaguirre. El diario se ocupa, principalmente, de las discusiones políticas y económicas del país y el extranjero, en temáticas tan variadas como la vida social, religión, deporte, ciencia, información financiera, literatura, cultura, publicidad entre otros.
